A journey through time to find out what Pompei was like at the height of its splendour, with three-dimensional reconstructions of the most important places for comparing them to today’s archaeological excavations.
The documentary takes you back to Vesuvius’ devastating eruption in AD 79, with a walk through the city’s basilica, temples, thermal baths, theatre, and most beautiful houses. All faithfully reconstructed with special effects and accompanied by original music.
It also contains a short film with virtual reconstructions of the most relevant places in Herculaneum.
The DVD is double-sided: the disc has a PAL side and an NTSC System side
