A book by Alessandro Oricchio. Foreword by Alberto Mandolesi
Alessandro Oricchio, journalist and university professor of Communication Sciences, but above all a passionate Roma team supporter and lover of “cacio e pepe” pasta sauce, recounts the “achievements” of Roma’s bombers and their goals. He covers the team’s best moments, the most exciting goals, and the most memorable games.
He recounts everything in the present tense, as if it were a radio chronicle, starting in 1927, the year the team was founded, and ending in the present. The reader experiences, or relives, the emotions which only a Bomber, a footballer par excellence, can arouse.
Each chapter is dedicated to a great Roma team Bomber: Volk, Da Costa, Amadei, Manfredini, Prati, Pruzzo, Voeller, Balbo, Batistuta, Delvecchio, Montella, and Totti.
The book is filled with colour photos, statistics, tables of the players, team formations, and anecdotes. He also lists all the strikers who have worn the red and yellow jersey for at least one minute.
The 2015-2016 team completes the book.
